I came across this
website today, even I don't understand the language but it is obvious that it speaks about boycott some goods that supports Israel!
Going through the list, it has almost everything I use :D or everybody is using. I agree that boycott as a act is useful and economically effective coz when you affect the sales of a company, they will try to do whatever they can to get their sales up, otherwise they will run out of business, that include affecting political decisions.
Even though, I believe the list is quite LONG and unrealistic! This is not the main topic I want to talk about in this post!... I want to talk about the influence!
Media, money, economy... Power is what really controls this world, controls the policies, and politics... shame on the world... ya!
It is very strange the influence of the media on ppl anticipation and how it derives their actions and thoughts. How small accidents could drive the whole public opinion, if the media stresses on it and keeps writing about how tragedy it was, with photos and analysis... but on contrary, a huge drama like what

happened in
Lebanon or Gaza... large number of kids died, thousands of homeless... just because the media didn't show photos for it, no one spoke loudly about it or analysed it in the media, like (oh... it is not a big deal! ignore it... focus on the missiles fired on Israel and the few died over there).
"Has the World become a small village?" I don't believe so... at least not for normal family person who get his/her news from the regular sources...
CNN,
fox news,... etc.
The problem of the Arab world, as I see it, is that they are not organised, there is no planning... or at least the brains who could organise and plan are far from the decision making, for many reasons... will talk about it later! again not the purpose of this post!
The thing that I find weird is the huge amount of money the Arab has!!! and yet they don't buy or share in big economical figures as the Jews do! same for the media in USA or Europe! I know some of them does like ART owner who lost some billions for his share in citi group :)
Instead of ask ppl to boycott long list of goods that logically they r unable to do so, provide alternatives... but how you can find such alternatives while the Arabs don't have any! no investments! no strong national industries... u can find a lot of western goods invading the middle eastern markets but not the opposite!
The money they have is miss-used, the oil is about to finish... it has a life time span, it is not endless! make use of the money now when you can coz later it will be even worse.
The league combined clubs revenues is around £1.4 billion in 2005–06, which are expected to rise to around £1.8 billion for 2007–08 due to media revenues based on
wikipedia which means -for a lot of ppl- this is not just a sport, but business of high revenue, despite talking about the huge number of fans who follow the club could also affect the officials decisions.
Sports could be a good back door for super-rich Arab investors to affect the European decision, for sure one or two clubs are not enough but it is a good start.
